Family, faith, jewelry, and the path that led to downtown Siloam Springs
THE BEGINNING
Sarah and Keith talked about building something together as far back as their honeymoon. They did not know what it would become yet.
Years later, Sarah, Keith, and a friend planned a ministry outreach but did not have the money to fund it. Sarah began making small pieces of jewelry to sell at a booth and help purchase the equipment they needed.
After the outreach, she felt called to keep going. Farmers markets, conventions, and pop-ups followed, with their three daughters alongside them as the business began to take shape.
WHY MUSTARD SEED?
When Sarah registered Mustard Seed Acquisitions, her faith felt small, but she wanted to take a step forward anyway.
The name became a reminder that she could plant the seed and nurture it, but God would be the one to make it grow.
It also represented what the family hoped to build: something that could help feed the hungry, comfort the sick, and show God's love through action, not just words.
A LITERAL SIGN
In December 2024, Sarah came across a listing for a building in downtown Siloam Springs. She thought it would be perfect for a store, but she was not ready to take one on.
She could not shake the idea. For the next six months, she continued checking to see whether the building was still available.
Around June 2025, a missionary spoke at their church about faith requiring action instead of simply waiting. During the message, the building came back to Sarah's mind.
After church, she drove downtown through a storm. As she went, she prayed for two things: that the building would still be available and that God would give her some kind of sign.
The building was still for rent.
In the window of the shop next door was a sign that read:
"Trust the author. He knows the ending better than you. When you let go of the pen, God turns the chaos into a masterpiece."
Sarah took a picture and sent it to Keith.
"You gave me a literal sign," Sarah says. "Like, you actually gave me a literal sign."
She went home and told Keith. For a while, fear kept them asking for more confirmation. Once they decided to move forward, peace settled over both of them.
The Mustard Seed opened its doors on August 15, 2025.
JEWELRY WITH A MISSION
Jewelry With a Mission is rooted in James 2:14-26: "Faith without works is dead."
For Sarah and Keith, that passage is not simply a tagline. It is a standard.
"We want people to realize our faith by how we act and what we do," Sarah says, "not by what we say."
MEET THE FAMILY
The Mustard Seed is a family business, right here in downtown Siloam Springs.
Sarah designs and makes many of the pieces herself, including one-of-a-kind rings and a growing collection of repeatable designs. Keith works alongside her, helping build the shop and keep the family business moving forward.
Their three daughters have been part of the story from the beginning, showing up at markets, helping in the shop, and growing up alongside the business.
This is not a franchise or a formula. It is a family building something meaningful, one customer at a time.
MADE AND CHOSEN WITH INTENTION
Sarah makes many pieces herself, including one-of-a-kind designs. Others are hand-assembled in the shop.
The shop also carries thoughtfully selected products that share the same sense of meaning, purpose, and care.
